Working with Text and around Text

Department of English, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin in collaboration with John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin is happy to announce the 2nd international conference Language Skills: Working with Text and around Text, Lublin, 22nd to 24th, September 2014

The conference aspires to provide a forum for sharing both theoretical and empirical findings in text research as well as pedagogic practices related to the use of text and text-based activities in the development of language skills and subsystems in second/foreign language instruction. Our main aim is to bring together scholars and researchers who explore and analyse text from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives, including pedagogic, discourse, linguistic, psycholinguistic, sociolinguistic or translation.
