2nd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMMUNICATION ACROSS CULTURES (COCAC)

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to inform you that the date for abstract submission to

2^nd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMMUNICATION ACROSS CULTURES (COCAC):
GLOBAL IDENTITIES, ENGLISHES AND COMPETENCIES IN ACADEMIC AND WORKPLACE CONTEXTS

which is organized by the Institute of English Studies in the University of Social Sciences in Warsaw on 29-30 September, 2016, has now been prolonged.

The new deadline for abstract submission has been extended to the 31 July, 2016.

The language of the conference will be English.

Conference Goals:

• To foster interdisciplinary dialogue for developing approaches to complex problems of communication across disciplines, workplaces and cultures;
• To investigate how academic processes and methodologies can best serve global issues of workplace practices and interculturality;
• To integrate research perspectives and practice in the fields of cross-cultural and disciplinary competencies;
• To investigate the effects of globalisation on issues such as multiple identities, multilingualism in academic and workplace contexts and English as a lingua franca

There will be an opportunity to publish in the Neophilological Quarterly (Polish Academy of Sciences) which is registered on Ministerial List B (12 points).
